Prior to her current roles, Pomeroy served as Chief Marketing Officer of IMAX Corporation (NYSE: IMAX). Earlier, she served as the CEO of JUMPLINE Group, a global agency network she founded in 2002. The Group includes BEHIND THE LINE Media, where she continues to produce film projects, many of which will be distributed and amplified through the bridgeLine media network. She now serves as the Group’s Chairman.
Pomeroy sits on several advisory boards including Ostendo, Otherly Ventures and Dot Dot Dot Media. She advocates for organizations that support gender equality, climate, and social justice. Valerie Stadler is a producer, filmmaker, and executive whose films have screened at Sundance, SXSW and Tribeca. Driven by a strong storytelling sense and deep industry knowledge, Valerie navigates the line between business and creative, infusing intention and strategy into her work.
Valerie is the co-founder of Big Swing Productions with longtime friend and collaborator Kyra Sedgwick. There she developed a slate of projects across film and television, with an emphasis on stories with heart and purpose. Prior to that, Valerie was the head of Production and Development for Fluency, a multi-platform studio under NBCUniversal, handling both day-to-day operations and development of the slate, as well as fostering partnerships both inside and outside of the studio.
As a founding member of bridgeLine media with her partner JL Pomeroy, Valerie brings her strategic thinking and clear communication to the bridgeLine mandate. Valerie is a 2019 Sundance Episodic lab fellow, the Co-President of the Outfest Board of Directors, and currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and one too many cats.
