JL Pomeroy

JL Pomeroy is an entrepreneur, media executive, producer and super-connector. Her passion for connecting people and orchestrating strategic partnerships to drive transformative change has been the through-line of her career.

She is the co-founder of bridgeLine media, a new venture she created with her partner Ibrahim AlHusseini, as a natural evolution of her work as the CEO of Husseini Group. There she leads investments into innovative companies in cleantech, health and wellness, recognizing the role private capital can play in shaping our collective future.

Prior to her current roles, Pomeroy served as Chief Marketing Officer of IMAX Corporation (NYSE: IMAX). Earlier, she served as the CEO of JumpLine Group, a global agency network she founded in 2002. The Group includes BehindTheLine Media, where she continues to executive produce film projects, many of which will be distributed and amplified through the bridgeLine media network. She now serves as the Group’s Chairman.

Pomeroy advocates for organizations that support gender equality, climate, and social justice. She is a board member emeritus of Step Up Women’s Network, an active member of Visionary Women and the WIE Suite, and sits on the Guggenheim Technology & Innovation Council in New York.

Ibrahim AlHusseini

Ibrahim AlHusseini is a renowned investor, sustainability-focused entrepreneur and environmentalist. He has started and sold numerous businesses and raised more than half a billion dollars of capital to back dozens of companies.

Through this work, AlHusseini has developed an exceptional network of industry leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs across the sustainability space.

He made his fortune in fiberoptics and rolled it into Cleantech in the early 2000s after witnessing the acceleration of plastic pollution in our oceans.  He is the founder of FullCycle, a growth equity fund accelerating the deployment of climate critical technology worldwide. He is the founder and managing member of his family office, Husseini Group where he is an early investor in Tesla, Uber, Beyond Meats and Thrive Market, as well as Aspiration, CleanChoice Energy and Cornerstone Capital Group. He is a frequent contributor on CNBC, Bloomberg and Yahoo Finance, and a passionate advocate for immigrants and sound environmental policies.

He currently sits on the boards of more than half a dozen organizations that focus on the positive development of our environment and humanity, including The Rainforest Action Network, The Culture Project and The Global Partnership for Women and Girls.
